Are you a FAIR Inspector who has worked in the Aerospace, Automotive or other precision (highly regulated industry) engineering manufacturing facility? Do you have experience with visual FAIRs? If so, my client, a tier 1 provider into the likes of Airbus, BAE Systems and Augusta Westland are looking to talk with you!

 

THE SALARY/RATE/PACKAGE/BENEFITS 

FAIR Inspector / F.A.I Inspector / Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Inspector / Quality Technician
The FAIR Inspector will receive the following:
• An initial contract of 3 months with view to be very long term
• Working week of 7.30am – 4.30pm
• Overtime available

 

THE CANDIDATE

FAIR Inspector / F.A.I Inspector / Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Inspector / Quality Technician
The FAIR Inspector will require the following experience:
• Experience as a Quality Inspector, in either the Aerospace or similar industry
• Previous experience inspecting components to aerospace standards (AS9100 and EASA)
• Experience using a wide variety of Quality inspection tools
• Experience compiling and producing FAIR (First Article Inspection Report)
• Visual FAIR experience is essential!
Desired skills and experience:
• Electrical testing and fault finding experience
• Experience in document verification

 

THE ROLE

FAIR Inspector / F.A.I Inspector / Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Inspector / Quality Technician
In the FAIR Inspector role you will be responsible for driving the companies’ quality improvement systems and processes ensuring standards are met and exceeded. You will be key to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes through liaising with engineers and supporting quality activities throughout various projects. This role is key to their aims and is well suited to an ambitious and driven individual who is keen on quality improvement. Duties and responsibilities will include:
• Inspection of items to specified standards
• Reporting and controlling of non conformances in accordance with operating standards
• Conforming and complying with all current Health & Safety regulations
• Maintaining documentation controls in support of the Quality Inspection processes to which he/she is assigned
• Participate in the continuous improvement process and initiatives
