Production Leader / Production Supervisor / Production Lead

Are you an experienced Production Leader who has experience working within an Aerospace or Automotive industry? Do you have experience working within a fast-moving high-volume operations department? Would you like to work for our client who is consistently growing to meet their customer needs? They manufacture and supply composite components to support many exciting on-going projects for Tier 1 suppliers in the Aerospace sector. Our client is looking for a Production Lead who will be responsible for the H&S, quality, cost, delivery and team management in an allocated work stream.


Production Leader / Production Supervisor / Production Lead

The Production Leader will receive the following package:

Production Leader / Production Supervisor / Production Lead

The Production Lead will require the following knowledge:

  • Good solid experience of leading a team in a production environment, preferably aerospace/automobile industries
  • Ideally educated to degree level or holding a recognised supervisory qualification
  • IT literate to intermediate level
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Experience of machining and metal parts manufacture and has to be used to working to close tolerances



Production Leader / Production Supervisor / Production Lead

The Production Supervisor will have the following day to day responsibilities:

  • To be accountable for the safe execution of the operational plan within your area
  • Lead by example with regards to working in a safe manner, avoiding accident or injury to people, damage to machinery or property
  • To ensure that all manufacturing activities are carried out in accordance with the instructions provide and that components produced meet the specified quality standards required
  • Prioritises and schedules work to meet the business needs
  • Review and recommend production methods and equipment to ensure that the processes are performed efficiently and at minimum costs
